SCIENCEThe CONSOLID SYSTEM was expressly developed for soil stabilisation. Every cohesive soil possesses the characteristic to re-petrify naturally but for that to happen, it takes a very long time under high pressure. Through the addition of catalysts, the CONSOLID SYSTEM speeds up this process dramatically. The CONSOLID SYSTEM does not react as a binder or an oxidant; It speeds up the natural process to solidify all types of cohesive and semi cohesive soils, permitting an improvement of the load bearing strength by figures up to, 5 - 10 fold relative to untreated material. Using the cohesive nature to naturally bind materials together, making all particles a solid immovable base layer.

The CONSOLID SYSTEM is a two part system Consolid 444 (C444) and Solidry.
C444 is a chemical substance that breaks up the adhering water film and leads to an irreversible agglomeration of fines, reducing the capillary rise of water substantially. The high effectiveness of C444 protects the soil, especially against the soaking in of water. Dealing with the ion exchange that takes place in soils helping repel water instead of attracting it. Allowing for better compaction of the treated soil and increases desired density during time and under traffic, never degrading always improving the strength of the base.
SOLIDRY is a powder substance that does not absorb water but binds with soil particles, this prevents the treated material from water soaking in by closing the capillary. The capacity of water absorption is drastically reduced; which stops the swelling behaviour of the soil, allowing the natural plasticity of the material to bind everything together.
